How it all began

It was in 2014 while working for the City Council in Johannesburg that l noticed most ladies at work had a receding hairline. As l paid attention to their hair including mine l saw that while they had beautiful hair, the hairline was just another story. I started asking questions and doing my research I discovered that this problem was mostly caused by the hairstyles we as ladies do. Especially platting and chemically treating the hair. After a while the scalp and hair get damaged and a loss of hair starts in some cases the hair never grows back.

In 2006 l got interested in Aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to improve the health of the body, mind and spirit. I even went to the United Kingdom to learn more and how to mix the essential oils and butters in a proper way as not to destroy the healing benefits in the process of mixing them. I went to work on trying to produce a product that will help alleviate the problem l was seeing everywhere.

The Oblez range started with only two products but now we have 32 products. We have a Kids Range, Hairline Restorer Range, Natural Hair Range, Relaxed Hair Range, Dreadlocks Range and Braided Hair Range.
